Dinomite Launch for Norfolk Attractions Campaign 2012

Peter Williamson, Chairman of Norfolk Tourist Attractions’ Association (NTAA), celebrated the publication of NTAA’s 2012 brochure at Dinosaur Adventure Park’s new indoor attraction Dinomite, with Martin Dupée from Dinosaur Adventure Park and Lydia Smith, Director Norfolk Tourism.

Some 500,000 NTAA brochures promoting the county’s top attractions will be distributed to more than 3,500 outlets throughout the East of England. Now in its 21st year, NTAA currently represents more than 100 attractions in Norfolk and North Suffolk.

NTAA Chairman, Peter Williamson of Merrivale Model Village Great Yarmouth said: "Norfolk’s attractions are looking forward to a successful 2012. The Diamond Jubilee, Torch Relay and the 2012 Games make this a year of celebration, when we can expect a great boost for English tourism."

"Norfolk is the perfect Olympic and Paralympic base," continued Mr Williamson. "Rather than stay in the London area, visitors can enjoy the historic city of Norwich, the magical waterland of the Broads, 90 miles of stunning coastline, busy seaside resorts like Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Hunstanton and the heaths and forest of the Brecks. NTAA’s brochure offers a superb choice of attractions across the county for visitors to enjoy, before they head for the London Games by train direct from Norwich and Diss to Stratford and from King’s Lynn and Downham Market to King’s Cross."

Norfolk Tourism Director, Lydia Smith added: "Norfolk has a fantastic variety of attractions, from historic houses and gardens, to theme parks, zoos and craft centres. NTAA’s brochure is a first class guide to the county’s top days out and is a must for both visitors and residents as they celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and Torch Relay, enjoy our major festivals including the Norfolk and Norwich Festival in May, King’s Lynn Festival in July and Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival in early September."

Dinomite is a new indoor attraction at Dinosaur Adventure Park dedicated to the under 5's with climbing nets, bridges and ball pools and three massive slides from gentle slopes to a terrifying vertical drop. There is a 130-seater coffee shop with an outside terrace where families can enjoy hot and cold meals and snacks. There are also three rooms available for birthday parties. Dinomite is open daily all year from 9.30am.
